Annual Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous returns in Elk County, with some changes

Elk County, PA (WJAC) — The annual Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous kicked off Wednesday in Ridgway. The event runs through Sunday afternoon. Organizers say 90 carvers, from countries around the world, will be making elaborate pieces out of wood for visitors to enjoy. Authorities ID body of boy, 12, found dead inside Philadelphia dumpster

PHILADELPHIA (WCAU) — A shocking discovery was made in Philadelphia after police found the body of a 12-year-old boy placed in a trash can. Philadelphia police say a sanitation worker picked up a trash container from a street last Tuesday and took it to a nearby storage facility where it was housed overnight. Central PA Humane Society vandalized, officials say

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — Officials with the Central PA Humane Society says they were the victims of vandalism Tuesday. They said the vandals were not able to enter the shelter, so all the animals are safe; however, the outside of the building and the two shelter vehicles were extensively damaged.
