Woman succumbs to injuries from crash on RT 22 that also killed husband, dog, coroner says

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — A second person has died as a result of a crash last month on Route 22 near Ebensburg in Cambria County, authorities say. According to Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees, 71-year-old Therese Dow succumbed Thursday to injuries sustained in the crash that happened May 25. Dow’s husband, Richard, was killed in the crash. Officials say their dog had to be euthanized for injuries. JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — The Johnstown BMX state qualifier race was held at Highland Regional Park on Saturday. Hundreds of riders, ages 3 to 60, were separated by age and proficiency levels: novice, intermediate, expert, and professional rider. Organizers say these participants travelled to Johnstown from all over Pennsylvania. This is one of eight qualifier races in the state held from now through August. Southern Airways announces flights to Pittsburgh, Dulles

JOHNSTOWN -- Southern Airways will begin offering three daily nonstop flights from Johnstown to Pittsburgh International Airport and Dulles International Airport near Washington, D.C. starting Nov. 19.
