Gunman in deadly Osceola Mills shooting had PFA against him

OSCEOLA MILLS - State police said Tuesday a Clearfield County man who killed his ex-girlfriend and her mother had a protection from abuse order against him. State police said Cody Bush shot and killed Victoria and Beth Shultz and injured another woman before taking his own life Friday. Restaurant expands in downtown Johnstown

A business in downtown Johnstown is expanding.

Intrignia Incorporated announced Wednesday it acquired the former Mission Inn building next to Balance Restaurant.

Officials tell us the new space for Balance will have an area for private banquets, weddings, and business meetings and even a live music venue.

Construction is expected to begin soon, with the new addition set to open early next year.

Road closed near Nittany Mall for sinkhole

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- East College Avenue near the Nittany Mall has reopened after PennDOT crews fixed a sinkhole that was discovered Saturday.

PennDOT said crews have filled the hole with stone and concrete and have paved the roadway.

The road had had been closed since Saturday when the sinkhole was discovered.

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials said the sinkhole was 4 feet by 5 feet wide.

Coroner IDs victim of fatal Westmont house fire as 22-year-old aspiring Navy nurse

Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees has identified the victim of Wednesday's fatal house fire on Fayette Street in Westmont Borough. Lees says 22-year-old Grant Jeanjaquet, a senior at Saint Vincent College, suffered "toxic thermal injuries" while attempting to escape the first floor of the home. According to West Hills Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Schrock, when crews arrived at the scene, they encountered heavy smoke and fire on the first floor of the residence and they also found three of Jeanjaquet's family members, as well as a dog, on the second floor porch roof. SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Ara Parseghian, who took over a foundering Notre Dame football program and restored it to glory with two national championships in 11 seasons, has died. He was 94.
